the truth... i nvr thought i wud like nh.. cos.. like.. its my second choice and not alot of my pri sch frens came here.. yeapp.. so... i din really care bout 106'05... last yr, 106 was just a.... a grp of students who gt into the same class. have to study together... that kind of WHATEVER. *dun kill me* i admit la.. that was really wad i thought abt 106. even aftr we won that champion class thingy at orientation -up till now i still duno why we win that leh. hahaa-
i nvr thought that i'll grow so freakingly attached to 206'06. mayb cos of... sports day? nsg? ndp? our wonderful reputation among teachers? mao n er yi thingys?

sports day-> we were like... the onli class without class flag?? but we made that up by wearing the NICEST CLASS TEE IN THE WHOLE SCH. and by cheering loudly. and also... shouting MAAAOOOO!!!! lol.. it was totally nothing like last yr's sports day..
ndp-> our wonderful AI isk!!!!!! :DDDDD our zilian pics!!!!!!!!! the disgusting dinners!!!!!!!!! the boring kfc food that we ate almost everywk!!!!!! the mayo eater!!!!!!!!!!! the disgusting sch field with stupid frogs!!! D: indoor stadium!!!!!!! outdoor stadium!!!!!!!!! sbs buses!!!!!!! and of course, the super nice nh mascot cap xDD

we have to thank ms sathi for everything she did for us the whole year. *its ALOT* she was like.... one of the super few teachers that really liked all of us. believed in us.. not to forget that she's a pro eng tchr. xD oyeah, without her, i wun realise how many ppl watches world cup in 206 -.- and how weird i was cos i dun understand a single bit xDD hahaa.

oyeahh. ms teo!! hahaa. honestly, she's an ok tchr wad.. quite caring also. she taught us for 2yrs some more. lets be nice to her on the remedial days la.. :D

this post is probably going to be quite emo. so bear with me.

i actually thought of posting my compo here. then i thought it might be quite insincere to do so. because 2o6'o6 deserves the best, yea?

we've got the best AI during NDP.
we've had the best classroom on the first floor.
we've got the smartest people in our class.
we have the greatest mayonnaise eater of all.
we've got the best erhu player. the best english teacher.
there's a whole list of what 2o6 had and have.

1o6. that's where all of our journeys in nanhua started.
most of us were strangers in a strange environment. if you asked me if i could imagine our class the way it is this year at the beginning of last year, i would have said no. but i guess our class is one for surprises. the first being that we won the "Champion Class Award".

we've grown together as a class. from a bunch of immature 12-13 year olds to a bunch of immature 13-15 year olds who've managed to work together. from playing outside our classroom, to annoying the hell out of teachers TOGETHER. that's what we are. we're 2o6.

like what serene said, i felt that we truly bonded on Sports Day this year. the first day we put on our class tee. though we didn't exactly achieve the results that we wanted, who wouldn't feel happy when they hear their class screaming their hearts out just to cheer their classmates on?

then came NDP. who could ever forget NDP. dancing that tap dance, eating the same old KFC, watching xiejing eat her mayonnaise, asking why other people had ice-cream when we didn't. as much as we hated NDP, who could hate spending time with their friends?

and the greatest source of our unity? maybe it is because of those teachers who love to compare us with other classes, expecting us to be the same as them. i shall put an excerpt from my compo here.

"Now, we are 206. It has been nearly 2 years since we first saw each other, more than 2 months since NDP ended. We are different from other classes, like how other classes are different from us. We dislike being compared to other classes because we know that we are different from them and that is the common factor that is holding our class together."
